I wish I had known with Alayna that there is so little that you need at first. The crib (or other sleeping place) ready, some clothes washed and folded and diapers. I wouldn't even get bottles and whatnot "in case you can't nurse". Because if you have formula there you are more likely to give up and bottle feed in the middle of a rough night...at least that's what I think. Oh, and some pacifiers, a thermometer, vaseline (for said thermometer and rashy bums) and a few blankets. Seriously. That's it. Oh, and your boobs. But I assume you keep those with you at all times. :)Sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03082209950533819397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5312498930127249579.post-20113905942457520022008-04-17T10:56:00.000-04:002008-04-17T10:56:00.000-04:00My advice: prepare your heart. And that's only when he's first born. It will continue to fill past capacity from that point on. Best feeling EVER!! :)

We can talk about all that practical b.s. during one of our chat breaks! ;)~SH~noreply@blogger.com
